• Laura and Amy from DeltaDeltaDelta came to talk about the 5K that they are hosting to benefit St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. It is October 15 at 11:00 a.m.  If you have any questions call (847) 721 5693.

• Purdue Recap – Margaret Watson won Overall Female, Annie won 15-19 Girls group, Pete did his first triathlon there. Dan, Laura, and Paul took 2^nd in the Collegiate Team category.

• We discussed our Mission Statement. A copy will be put up online on the Tri-Birds Website.

• Meredith talked about the Midwest Reg. Club XC Championship. We need 5 people in order to compete. It is Sunday, Nov. 6^th in Muncie, IN. It is a $10 entry free and you get a ton of free food, including pizza, and a cool shirt. It is a fun road trip. Contact Mere with any questions.

• Good luck to James, Mere, Lauren, Jason, Kevin, Michelle, and anyone else I missed who are running in the Chicago Marathon!! The Aid Station is #13 and directions can be found on the Chicago Marathon website.  For volunteers, there is an 80’s theme.
