All are encouraged to take part in the 4 th Annual Spring Fever 5k on Saturday April 14 th, 2007 at 8:00am on the Illinois State University Quad. This 3.1 mile run put on by the Illinois State University Triathlon Club has much to offer including prizes, awards, post-race food, t-shirts, a well-marked course, and enthusiastic support along the course.

Registered participants of all abilities come out every year to help support the Illinois State University Triathlon Club (TriClub) as they raise money to send members of the club to Nationals, the championship for triathlon clubs across the country.

Registration can be done online for $20 until the week before the race at www.active.com or on race day for $25 at the packet pickup table.

Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers as well as to the overall winner. A raffle will take place for prizes following awards, allowing all registered participants an opportunity to take home something fun!

Lauren Parello, Senior Education Major and Vice President of TriClub is excited for this year’s race, “It’s sure to be the best race yet as we have improved the course, organized a more efficient finish, and received many great prizes for the raffle!”
